Theology ​

This is based on just one verse.

We live in a different era.

You can't force people to be generous.

Everything belongs to God and we can't give it all for free!

Not everyone has the ability to give for free.

What about authors, musicians, etc?

What about publishers and stores?

Why target parachurch ministry?

Lots of resources are already free.

What can or can't be sold?

People don't value free products.

Copyright prevents theft.

Copyright prevents heresy.

Copyright prevents plagiarism.

Copyright fosters innovation.

Just ask permission.

Licenses ​

Why not forbid commercial use?

Why not forbid derivatives?

Why not require sharing-alike / copyleft?

Why not require attribution?

Why public domain?
